Después de analizar, estudiar, oír y hablar con diferentes personajes relacionados con la cultura Orisha, nos atrevemos a simbolizar lo más fidedignamente, dentro de la dificultad que esto entraña, a este santo de la religión Yoruba que por su virilidad, fuerza y atributos (rayo, trueno, fuego, etc..) es uno de los más venerados.

En Brasil y por su importancia, Xangó, que se puede escribir de varias formas, sigue el orden jerárquico de Oxala y se le adora a través de San Jerónimo, en concreto en Río de Janeiro a través de San Miguel Arcángel. Del mismo modo en Trinidad y Santo Domingo, está sincretizado en diferentes santos de la religión católica; en Cuba por ejemplo, se sincretiza en Santa Bárbara
